Nasmyth Group expands its global reach across East Asia and Canada Added 7/12/2020
Nasmyth Group is pleased to confirm that it has extended its presence in Japan, China and Canada.
With an established trading position in each of the three countries, Nasmyth is ideally placed to invest in the development and expansion of its precision engineering businesses in East Asia (including China and Japan) and Canada. Nasmyth Group has appointed Mr Patrick Carroll, an experienced businessman working within the sectors of civil and defence aerospace, space, marine and subsea products and engineering quality services.
Patrick, located in Tokyo, Japan, is to head up the drive to reposition Nasmyth Group and to achieve further rapid expansion in this dynamic market. Patrick, an engineer, linguist and senior manager notes: “There are opportunities across the East Asian low-cost manufacturing environment for Nasmyth. I look forward to growing the Group’s operations in this market.”. He continues to say “Equally exciting are the specialised services offered by Nasmyth including design and production engineering, metal surface treatments and system design / integration.”.
Nasmyth Group has an established presence in the USA with manufacturing facilities and a regional office in Southern California. Now the team have extended this presence into Canada and the North East of the United States. Scott Hudson who has been a senior member of Nasmyth’s UK team for over 6 years is now expanding our customer base in Montreal. Scott commented: “Nasmyth already has substantial engineering and product supply business in this region but with this investment we look forward to further growth opportunities in North America and Canada.”
